Indian philosophy is, before anything else, texts: the Bhagavad Gita, the Upanishads, the sutras, the treatises of Advaita and Tantra. At ОРС they are read and unpacked together with teachers, the way these texts were always meant to be studied.

Why guided reading
Classical Sanskrit texts are layered: commentaries argue with each other, terms shift meaning between schools, and a lone reader with a translation misses most of it. A teacher who knows the commentarial tradition turns the same pages into a living argument.
